This is such a sweet black velvet evening bag by Morris Moskowitz. It is rounded at the bottom and has two little handles and a gold tone kiss clasp closure. It has two pleats in front and back to create a large round space to fill with items at the bottom. The inside is lined in a beautiful peach satin, with a matching holder for the round mirror.

It is marked with the Morris Moskowitz signature MM on the mirror case, but not on the inside of the bag. Circa late 1940's or early 1950's.
